About
Come to Good grew out of my greatest childhood joys
I spent my early career working in the arts and creative sectors in London and Bristol. However, after 12 years, the echoes of these childhood joys resonated strongly. A lifelong love of food rooted in an upbringing filled with sharing and feasting with friends and family and coming from a mixed heritage household; combined with 15 years of dance training followed by another 15 years attempting to learn the ways of a yogini perhaps it’s no surprise that I was drawn back to joyful food and movement.
Having stumbled across Thai Yoga Massage in 2009 it transformed my experience and understanding of what massage could offer in terms of healing, support and nourishment. I re-connected with the dance and movement training of my youth and embraced the wonderful ‘dance’ that can occur between giver and receiver of Thai Yoga Massage. For many years this was a key part of the Come to Good experience and now my movement journey continues at Unfurl Exhale.
Having completed my Massage training I began to explore ways I could re-connect with my other love, food. After catering for the odd pop-up or arts event for fun it was through yoga that I began cooking at retreats, offering delicious, nourishing fare with an emphasis on joyful eating experiences rather than purely food as fuel for the body.
Through cooking for so many different people in varied settings I have become an expert at catering for different dietary needs and always enjoy the conversations I have with those that I cater for.
As a result of my creative sector background I also love curating and collaborating on events with other practitioners too - Herbalists, Nutritionists, Chefs, Yoga Teachers, Creatives and other therapists & bodyworkers - to bring you other events that nurture, challenge, support and nourish you on whatever journey you find yourself on. Speak to me if you have an event or idea that we could develop together.
